visit the ancient pyramids and the mysterious Sphinx, before marvelling at the treasures in the Egyptian Museum. Sinai & the Red Sea Travelling down the Sinai Peninsula, you visit the pilgrimage site of St. Catherine's Monastery with the opportunity to climb Mt. Sinai for sunrise. Enjoy a camel trek by the Red Sea and snorkelling from colourful Dahab. Wadi Rum Crossing the Red Sea to Jordan, continue to Wadi Rum to camp under the stars and gaze up at dramatic rock formations. You will also explore this incredible scenery on an exciting jeep safari or camel ride (additional charge). Petra - Rose Red City The fabled city of Petra is carved from the rock of which Jordan is formed. Enjoy a full day exploring this ancient site on foot. Catching your first glimpse of the Treasury is an incredible experience.
Is it suitable for my family?
Minimum age: 8 years. There is a reasonable amount of walking involved, especially at Mt. Sinai. Be prepared for dry and dusty desert conditions. Activities Walking, swimming, snorkelling, uncover historical sites, uncover ancient civilisations, trekking, 4WD safari, city tour Transport Minibus, boat, on foot, camel, 4WD Accommodation Hotels (9nts), Bedouin-style camp (2nt) Hotels generally have en suite facilities. In Wadi Rum you'll stay in a multi-share camp with shared facilities. Blankets are provided but you may want to bring your own sleeping bag. Meals included 11 breakfasts & 4 dinners Swimming opportunities The sea in Dahab or in pools at St. Catherine's, Petra (seasonal) and in the Dead Sea.
