Trip Highlights
Unique Landscapes Cappadocia is undeniably a fantasy of nature, with its unique geological formations and famous fairy chimneys. The spectacular mountains and clear azure lakes make this an incredible setting. Activity-filled Week This trip offers the best (and most fun!) ways to explore this area's surreal scenery, including cycling, on horseback and on foot, bringing you up close and personal with the breathtaking beauty of Cappadocia. Underground City The region is full of fascinating underground cities, some as ever 4,000 years old and once home to 30,000 people. You visit one of these, Derinkuyu, which can feel like entering a giant Swiss cheese, with holes everywhere!
Is it suitable for my family?
Minimum age: 12 years. This is an active week and anyone of reasonable fitness can participate. Walks of up to 6 hours a day on some steep gradients. Good footwear required. The wild camp has basic facilities and an ablution block. Activities Horse riding, visit Derinkuyu, walking, camping. Transport Minibus, horse, mountain bike, on foot. Accommodation Hotels (4nts), wild camp (3nts) The camp site is basic but it is worth it to stay at such a beautiful location. Sleeping bag required. Meals included 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches & 6 dinners Swimming opportunities In rivers and waterfalls
