the perfect base for an activity-filled week in the mountains. The walking is fantastic and you can explore the beautiful Pessons Lake. Smugglers' Route Giving your legs a rest, jump into 4WD vehicles and follow an old smugglers' route off-road, stopping to visit farming hamlets and take in the breathtaking views of the Pyrenees. White Water Rafting Crossing into Spain, enjoy a fun afternoon white water rafting. The river is fast flowing and rough in parts! More cautious families can be taken on calmer sections of the river. Biking & Barbecue You drive to the Cortals Valley and spend a morning cyclling along a flat track to Engloasters Lake. After a delicious barbecue lunch, it's back to the bikes for a thrilling downhill ride to end your trip.
Is it suitable for my family?
Minimum age: 8 years. This is a centre-based itinerary, so there is little travelling. Activities can be tailored to suit your ability. Minimum age for rafting is 8 years. Activities Walking, white water rafting , zip wiring, cycling, 4WD adventure. Transport Minibus, mountain bike, raft, 4WD, on foot Accommodation Hotel (7nts) Set in the village of Soldeu, the hotel is basic but has friendly staff and a great atmosphere with facilities including a restaurant and bar.
