downhill skiing (additional charge) and cross-country skiing. Cross-country skiing is an excellent way to explore as you follow the many forest paths which run through the mountains. Snowshoeing With snowshoes you can go almost anywhere - meaning you can get to places that skiers cannot. You set off along a trail through the forest, marvelling at the peace and beauty of the snowy landscape. Build an igloo On this trip you learn an interesting new skill how to build an igloo! Igloo building is great fun and kids will be thrilled to see how simple it is to make an icy shelter. Dog sledding Learn how to harness a team of dogs and discover how a dog-sled is handled. Hold on tight as you head through the snowy forest and enjoy the scenery!
Is it suitable for my family?
Minimum age: 6 years. An active trip where a good level of fitness for all the family is required. A number of the activities can be tailored to the abilities and age of the group. Warm winter/ski clothing essential. You need to be 17 or over to drive a snowmobile. Some activities are available at an additional charge. Activities Snowshoeing, dog sledding, cross-country skiing Transport Minibus, snowshoes, skis, sleds, (snowmobile) Accommodation Hotel (7nts) Set in the village of Soldeu, the hotel is basic but has friendly staff and a great atmosphere with facilities including a restaurant and bar. Meals included 7 breakfasts & 7 dinners
