Summer Holidays
It's the big one. Summer is when Europe turns into a big adventure playground. Go kayaking in Croatia, zip wiring and mountain biking through the Pyrenees or white water rafting in Montenegro. Head to the Andes in Peru, then follow the Inca trail or take the train and be amazed by the lost city of Machu Picchu, one of the Wonders of the World. See the sights of Vietnam, explore Hanoi in a rickshaw, barter for goods at a floating market and sit back to enjoy the boat ride though Halong Bay.
October Half Term
Nepal and India come alive in autumn. Join in the festivals in Rajasthan - watch the sky light up for Diwali. Or explore southern India and laze away on a houseboat cruise along the backwaters in Kerala. You can look forward to clear skies and dry days in Nepal, for perfect views of Everest. Like the spring, it's a great time to visit Morocco with warm weather and fewer crowds. Ride camels through the desert, stay in traditional Berber villages in the Atlas Mountains and play on the beaches of Essaouira. It's also your last chance to catch some summer sun in Europe. Head to Turkey for some end of season kayaking and snorkelling.

Want to know the best way to celebrate the end of the year? Get into the festive spirit and party with the locals in lively Latin America. Feel the rhythms of Cuba. Prefer a big dose of the white stuff? Whoosh off dog-sledding in Slovakia, go skiing in Andorra or snowshoeing in Bulgaria for a wonderfully white Christmas.
