Elephant Park Project The Elephant Park Project is in a beautiful mountainous setting in a hidden valley near Luang Prabang. The location provides a happy retirement home for elephants formally involved in the logging industry. Floating market in the Mekong Delta Sail along the canals and channels of the Mekong through a floating market where you'll visit a bonsai garden, a handicraft village, and see how sweets and pop rice are made. Ha Long Bay Board a traditional wooden junk and explore some of the limestone caves dotted around the bay. Your captain will stop off at secluded locations to allow you to go swimming in the sea. This trip allows your family to learn about some of the social and educational issues facing rural people in northern Laos, 80% of whom live in poverty.
