Cenotes A cenote is a sink hole or underground cave full of clear, cool water - perfect for swimming. The Yucatan is full of these hidden spots - a refreshing oasis for explorers. Working Hacienda Learn about the history of colonial Mexico by visiting a local, working hacienda. You'll see first hand the process of making rope fibre and the grand main buildings. Celestun Lagoon The nature reserve at Celestun is home to more than 300 bird species including large flocks of flamingos. Travel by boat around the lagoon before heading to the coast.
