Even after thousands of years the ancient civilizations of the Middle East continue to excite visitors with their mystery and monuments. The scale of the Pyramids and Karnak in Egypt, and Petra in Jordan is mind-boggling, and these places deserve the time we give them in our itineraries to be explored and enjoyed. The natural landscapes of this region will inspire you as well, from the extremes of the Sahara to the lushness of the oases and the underwater landscapes of the Red Sea.

Desert Explorer - Egypt (FXDE) If you have older children this active trip should appeal to them. Designed specifically for teenagers, it includes exploration of the remote Western Desert by 4WD and camel, sleeping under the stars, plus visits to Cairo, Luxor and the Red Sea.
Treasures of the Nile - Egypt (FQRA) The Nile has been Egypt's lifeblood for thousands of years. A comfortable cruise along this watery highway is a great way to get a feel for the character of this ancient country, and takes you to all the highlights.
