Your Accommodation
You'll generally stay in small, clean, family-run, tourist-class hotels which reflect something of the area you're travelling to. Using a western hotel star rating, the majority of properties will be between two and three star.
Some trips incorporate a local village homestay for a night and on others you may spend a night or two on board a riverboat on the Nile, in a Bedouin-style camp in Wadi Rum or on a houseboat in Southern India. On some of our wilderness adventures we sleep under canvas in two-person tents or perhaps in quite luxurious tented camps. When you get off the beaten track there isn't always much choice - but it's usually worth going without creature comforts for a night or two in order to reach somewhere special or unique!

NO single supplements
If you are travelling on your own you will automatically be `roomed' with a fellow member of the group of the same sex. You do not pay any additional supplement for travelling as a single person.
