At The Adventure Company, we are passionate about travel, approaching it with a sense of exploration and discovery. To us, an adventure is about making genuine discoveries and encountering new cultures and people. Until now, the choice of holidays for the over 50s has primarily been limited to large coach tours and sterile hotel-based packages, where opportunities to interact with local cultures are limited, if not restrained. On a Prime Adventure, we encourage you to participate, not just spectate. Our style of travel lends itself to an intimacy that is not found on conventional holidays, creating a sense of camaraderie and discovery that can only be shared whilst travelling in a small group of like-minded individuals. Our concept is a simple one. Prime Adventures are a range of small group trips designed for travellers who are 50 and over and who want to travel with their like-minded peers.
Off the beaten track
We make it our business to find untouched, remote places that aren't full of tourists and over-crowded hotels. Travelling in a small group allows you to discover those special places and enables you to make genuine contact with local people.

With many years of experience in organising and leading adventure holidays we know what is worth putting into an itinerary, and what to leave out. We believe in getting the balance right, with a variety of different elements, and also the freedom to do your own thing. We know about the hidden gems that few people ever get to hear about and we also choose the best partners abroad so that we have good, reliable back-up.
