Transport & guides on your trip: Bus, on foot, domestic flight, cruise boat. In the Galapagos we normally use the `Amigo' which is a tourist class motor yacht, custom designed exclusively for cruising the Galapagos archipelago. Most sailing is done overnight to maximize your time on shore. The boat is not under sole charter and therefore there may be passengers of other ages and nationalities; however the main language used is always English. Your accommodation: Hotels (4 nights), twin berth cabin with private facilities (7 nights). `Amigo' carries 16 passengers within eight twin cabins, each with private facilities. There is a dining room/saloon and a sun deck; the atmosphere on board is relaxed and friendly. Dining out: Trip price includes: 11 breakfasts, 6 lunches & 7 dinners. On the cruise you'll normally be served a variety of international and local Ecuadorian dishes. Most dietary requirements can be catered for if advised in advance.

In Darwin's Footsteps
The Galapagos Islands are a nature lover's paradise where the animals have no fear of humans. Swim and snorkel with penguins and turtles as friendly sea lions twist and turn around you and their inquisitive pups frolic in the surf. On land step over clumps of tightly packed marine iguanas, marvel at the size of the giant tortoises and watch the blue-footed boobies dance whilst pterodactyl-like frigate birds soar overhead. Comfort Level
Graded `easy', this trip offers no physical difficulty other than getting in and out of a dinghy. The walks on the islands are on fairly straightforward terrain and all are optional. Life aboard the vessel is very informal.
