POLAR CIRCLE

In addition to the Antarctic Peninsula itinerary (see trip Ref. AOP), you'll go further south in an attempt to cross the Polar Circle at 66ฐ30'S to see magnificent ice-filled channels, sounds and soaring mountains. This is even more dependent on weather and ice conditions than the other cruises but the icebreaking capabilities of our ships mean that the chances of success are good.

The Weddell Sea is linked with Shackleton's Endurance Expedition and is a rarely visited region. We will also visit Elephant Island, home for many months to the Endurance sailors.
