Heading northwest you have the chance to spot rhino and other wildlife on game drives. Day 3 Lake Nakuru/Naivasha Lake Nakuru's soda-rich waters support a large population of flamingos and seeing them stretching across the horizon as an ever-moving pink barrier is an impressive sight. Continue to Naivasha for an evening boat cruise on the lake. Day 4/5 Maji Moto Today you'll head south to the Loita Hills and camp in this truly wild region. An extended walk with Masai guides and a visit to a Masai village allow you to gain an insight into their culture. Day 6/7 Masai Mara Enjoy an early game drive en route to the Masai Mara National Reserve. More game drives will reveal the huge variety of wildlife native to the plains of this incredible place. Day 8/9 Time for one last game drive before driving to Nairobi for the overnight flight home. We sponsor the elephant orphan "Shukuru" at the David Sheldricks Wildlife Trust. The Trust looks after rescued elephants and rhinos before releasing them back into the wild. Insider's view We spent an evening watching an electric storm work its way across the valley, mesmerising! Also watching a female leopard stalking something and seemly oblivious to our vehicle while several gazelles broke cover and made hasty escapes was so exciting. It was just amazing to be that close to such beautiful creatures.
