Day 4/5 Etosha NP The waterhole at Okaukuejo has been described as one of the `best wildlife opportunities in southern Africa'. Relax and watch animals come to drink, then explore the park on game drives. Discover the Communal Carnivore Conservation project for lions, the first unit of its kind in Namibia. Day 7 Himba Village Learn about some of Namibia's ancient traditions and meet the local Himba people. Essentials Day 8/9 Swakopmund On the Skeleton Coast, visit the seal colony at Cape Cross before arriving in Swakopmund. Choose to relax or take part in one of the many optional activities (additional charge) such as microlight flights over the desert. Day 10/11 Sossusvlei Travel to Walvis Bay lagoon, home to a vast array of bird life, especially flamingos. The next day, see stunning views of the dunes at sunrise and visit Sesriem Canyon. Day 12 Windhoek Head back to Windhoek, Namibia's capital city, with free time to explore. Day 13/14 Overnight flight home. Graded easy. However, you should be prepared for long drives on dusty roads.
