Meru (4,566m) is both scenic and dramatic, and is perfect for acclimatisation before you summit the much higher Kilimanjaro (5,895m). Day 11/12 Summit, Arusha Final ascent to Uhuru (Freedom Peak, 5,895m) for dawn and return to Mweka Camp (3,100m). The next day, trek to Mweka village and drive to Arusha. Day 13/14 Fly home.
