Itinerary
Day 1/2 Overnight flight to Kilimanjaro Airport and transfer to Arusha. Day 3 Lake Manyara The adventure begins in the lush forest of Lake Manyara National Park, which is home to elephants and a population of tree-climbing lions. Day 4/5 Serengeti Visit Olduvai Gorge where fossilised bone fragments attest to the existence of early man before you head into the rolling plains of one of the world's largest and most renowned wildlife sanctuaries - the Serengeti. Here, there are superb opportunities to spot a variety of game - giraffes, lions, cheetahs, elephants and wildebeest to name a few. Day 6/7 Ngorongoro Crater Travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and pitch camp on the rim of this extinct volcanic crater. This dramatic setting and the sheer abundance of game provide fantastic photo opportunities. Day 8 Tarangire NP En route to Arusha you overnight at Tarangire NP where the bizarre baobab trees provide a habitat for migratory species. Your final stop on a wildlife extravaganza! Day 9/10 Free time in Arusha; overnight flight home.
