hotel. The rest of today is free. Day 2 Istanbul This morning you take a tour of the area around Sultanahmet and Port Eminou. In the afternoon you are free to explore the rest of the Grand Bazaar. Day 3 Bursa Early this morning you depart Istanbul for Bursa, an old city with a rich and varied history, offering a glimpse of traditional Turkish life. Day 4/5 Selcuk Drive on to Selcuk by public bus. Selcuk is your base for discovering Ephesus, the best preserved ancient city in Turkey. Day 6 Pamukkale Head inland through the mountains to one of Turkey's most photographed sites - the gleaming white travertine terraces of Pamukkale.

with the opportunity to enjoy a quiet, traditional Turkish village. From here you set off along the Lycian Way. Day 9/10 Kas Some spectacular coastal scenery greets you on your drive from Kayakoy to Kas. This quaint resort is your base for a boat trip along the coastline. Day 11 Konya It's a long driving day today, as you head inland to Konya along the plains of the Anatolyan Steppe. Day 12/14 Goreme The spectacular rock formations of Cappadocia have to be seen to be believed and you have time for that while in Goreme. Day 15 After an overnight train back to Istanbul you transfer to the airport and fly home.
