Day 3/4 Jaipur Venturing south west you'll discover the capital of Rajasthan, the `pink city' of Jaipur, where you'll visit the Palace of the Winds, and the historic Amber Fort. Day 5/6 Agra Journey to the Taj Mahal in Agra � arguably the most perfectly proportioned building in the world. En route you'll visit the mysterious, deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Day 7/8 Foothills You head into the Himalayan foothills, where the old hill station of Naini Tal retains a colonial atmosphere from the days of the Raj. Later a stunning drive will bring you to Betalghat. Essentials comfortable lodge and travel by jeep seeking out the area's prolific wildlife. There are many bird species, hog deer and monkeys to spot, and with a little luck you may even see a leopard, wild elephant or a tiger!
