Itinerary
Day 1 Overnight flight to Delhi. Day 2/3 Delhi Your journey begins with
serenely by the River Yamuna. Tomorrow, watch the sunrise over perhaps the world's most beautiful building - an unforgettable experience. As the early morning mists clear, the delicately carved marble walls change from rose pink to dazzling white. Day 11 Delhi Return to Delhi where you can spend the afternoon at your leisure. Day 12 Fly home.

A relaxed itinerary suitable for anyone in reasonable health. Road travel can be slow but is a great way to see India up close. In the summer months we operate an amended itinerary visiting Swai Mansingh Sanctuary rather than Ranthambore. an exploration on foot of the narrow, busy streets and colourful bazaars of Old Delhi. You'll visit contrasting New Delhi with its wide boulevards and imposing buildings the following day. Day 4/5 Udaipur Fly south to the romantic city of Udaipur for a relaxing couple of days discovering beautiful Lake Pichola and grandiose lakeshore palaces. Day 6/7 Jaipur Taking the sleeper train you travel to Jaipur, where you'll visit the magnificent City Palace and Amber Fort. Day 8/9 Ranthambore NP The scenery and pace change as you go on safari amongst the forest scrub. As well as leopards, crocodiles and sambar deer, you may be lucky enough to spot Bengal tigers.

Wildlife SOS manages the Agra Bear Rescue Facility, which facilitates the rescue of dancing bears. We helped to fund their new Education Centre which you'll have the chance to visit on this trip.
