You might feel like an explorer when you step into in the Middle East. With the great Pyramids of Egypt, the lost city of Petra in Jordan and the magnificent Valley of the Kings there are more wonders here than anywhere else. But it's the awe-inspiring natural landscapes that continue to amaze me and bring me back to this wonderful part of the world. Ride a camel through the ever-changing sands of the Sinai Desert and Wadi Rum, camp with the Bedouins by a cool oasis, and snorkel over colourful corals in the Red Sea or float on the salty Dead Sea. Visit imposing crusader castles, wander through colourful souks and sip mint tea or spend a night sleeping under a blanket of stars in the desert enjoying a traditional meal - an experience you'll never forget.
