There are many wildlife highlights on this Kenyan adventure! Your first safari experience is in the Samburu Plains, where you search for animals on extensive game drives. At Mount Kenya you can savour the tranquillity on day hikes with a naturalist guide and spot a large variety of birds at Lake Naivasha. The final highlight is three days spent in the Masai Mara where local Masai lead you on game walks and drives.
Collection Extras
The Masai Mara tented camp combines nature with comfort. Each spacious tent has a verandah and hot shower open to the sky. You will also spend one night in the bush camp, set in a remote location in the Mara.
Itinerary
Day 1/2 Overnight flight to Nairobi. Day 3/4 Samburu You travel to Samburu for your first safari experience. The region is rich in wildlife thanks to its sources of permanent water. You have the opportunity to visit a Samburu village. Day 5/6 Mt. Kenya Explore the lush environment on the lower slopes of Mt. Kenya on hikes escorted by an expert local guide. Day 7 Lake Nakuru Marvel at the sea of flamingos resident at Lake Nakuru. Day 8 Lake Naivasha A prime location for bird watching, and an afternoon boat cruise is a great wildlife spotting opportunity. Day 9-11 Masai Mara Local Masai guides take you for exciting walking safaris. For one night you move to a bush camp in a remote part of the Mara, where you camp surrounded by wildlife. Day 12/13 Return to Nairobi crossing the Rift Valley Escarpment; overnight flight to London.
