Calas de Mallorca

Palma Nova
Palma Nova and Magaluf should probably be said in the same breath, since the two resorts have expanded and merged to embrace what was once the dividing line, the headline of Torrenova. However, of the two resorts Palma Nova remains a better choice for families. There are two sandy beaches, a good selection of restaurants, shops, bars, cafés and entertainment, together with family attractions such as Marineland. Transfer from airport: approx 1hr

The world famous swashbuckling Pirates adventure has to be seen to be believed, a swashbuckling night with a meal and drinks included. This wonderful family half day cruise to the stunning beach of Formentor, aboard a three tier glass bottom catamaran, is the perfect way to top up your tan! Cala dOr
With pine-fringed headlands and pretty bays, this is one of the east coasts most beautiful areas. Youll find a string of coves or calas like mini resorts each with their own beach and traditional-style buildings which house shops, bars and restaurants. Beaches in the area, some reached down steep hills or steps, range in size and lure sunseekers with a wooded coastline, calm waters and fine sands, though they can become crowded. The Cala d'Or and Cala Gran beaches are among the best and these lively areas boast a great choice of shops, upbeat bars and restaurants. Nearby Cala Llonga's large, up market marina is host to sophisticated restaurants and cafés. Transfer from airport: approx 1hr 30mins
Magaluf
Vibrant Magaluf combines an upbeat atmosphere with a huge array of amenities to make it Majorcas liveliest area. A firm favourite with younger holidaymakers and families, it can offer something for everyone. The beach is a broad stretch of fine sand lapped by safe, shallow waters a superb place for lazing in the sun, cooling off in the sea or trying out watersports. Magaluf also has fun-filled family activities, sporting facilities and shopping opportunities as well as an enormous choice of restaurants to suit all tastes.
