Tekirova, nr. Kemer
Located in the bay of the same name, Tekirova is 15km west of the more cosmopolitan resort of Kemer. Originally a small Turkish village, it now boasts a small shopping centre and a sprinkling of bars and restaurants. Transfer from Antalya airport: approx. 1hr.
Side
Side (pronounced sea-day) is built on a headland with several beaches to either side. It boasts bars, lokantas, watersports, modern shops, clubs and discos alongside the relics of the past including two second century temples and an amphitheatre. These ruins are close to the resort centre, with its bustling streets where there are bargains to be found. Accommodation is situated both in Side itself and along the coastline stretching from the town in each direction. Transfer from Antalya airport: approx 1hr.
Çolakli, nr. Side
12km west of Side is the small town of Çolakli with bars, restaurants, and a superb sandy beach. Transfer time from Antalya airport: approx 1 hr.
Konakli nr. Alanya
A small traditional town, Konalki has a selection of shops and a limited number of bars and restaurants. A large sand and shingle beach offers a haven for the sun lover and plenty of watersports. Transfer time from airport: approx 2 hrs.
