You might think that its a cliché but the Costa del Sol really does have something for everyone whether you want to relax on golden beaches or drive inland to the orange groves of Seville. Its a place where you can do all of the things that make holidays special, like improving your swing at San Pedro de Alcantaras golf club, enjoying romantic meals in the restaurants that line Puerto Banus marina or tapas bar hopping in Nerja. And, if it's nightlife that makes your get-away complete, youll feel right at home in the lively clubs and bars of Torremolinos or Fuengirola
Nerja
Known as the jewel of the eastern Costa del Sol', Nerja mixes modern facilities with Moorish tradition. Its coves and beaches sit along the coastline while a promenade called the Balcon de Europa runs along the cliff edge, offering fantastic sea views. Cobbled streets packed with cafés and boutiques extend from here, coming alive in the evenings with tapas bars and restaurants. Transfer from airport: approx 1hr 30mins.
Torremolinos
This is fun central! As one of the regions largest resorts, Torremolinos can offer limitless nightlife and entertainment. Its two golden beaches have earned a reputation for being the best on the Costa and the resorts waterpark promises plenty of excitement. Visit the Crocodile Park, wander amongst the shops of San Miguel Street, or explore the traditional area of La Carihuela where the streets are lined with fish restaurants. Transfer from airport: approx 15mins.
Benalmadena
Bustling Benalmadena attracts all ages. Benalmadena Costa is the main tourist area where beaches stretch for 9km into the west and a marina offers entertainment. Sitting between coastal and inland Benalmadena is Arroyo de la Miel with bars, restaurants and the Tivoli World Amusement Park. Further inland is Benalmadena Pueblo, the original heart of the resort where whitewashed houses line the cobbled streets. Transfer from airport: 30mins.
