Zante
The beaches in Zante are among the best in the whole of Greece, particularly suitable for young children, while elsewhere the attractions vary from traditional farming villages to modern holiday resorts; from hideaways on secluded coves to popular beaches where you can try out the latest in watersports. The visitor can choose from the many harbourside tavernas and restaurants, while the shops will offer a wide range of home-grown and locally produced goods to rival those to be found anywhere else in Greece.
Laganas
Without doubt this is the most popular resort on the island of Zante, with every facility you could wish for. During the months of July and August, Laganas attracts large numbers of young people due to its lively atmosphere. Shops, bars, tavernas and discos have sprung up to ensure your stay is full of fun. Please note that a campaign is being conducted in the resort to protect the endangered Loggerhead Sea Turtle. Transfer from airport: approx 45mins
Kalamaki
Kalamaki is best described as a quieter and more up market version of neighbouring Laganas and has golden sand and wonderfully clear water. You will find a wide range of cuisine on offer in Kalamaki and nightlife here has a touch more style than in some other areas with most of it to be found along the resorts one main street. Due to the proximity of the airport, you may be aware of aircraft noise until 10pm. Transfer from airport: approx 30mins
Argassi
Argassi's popularity grows each year, attracting families, couples and young singles alike with its traditional charm. With Zante Town just 4km away, this bustling holiday resort has something for everyone. From lively nightlife and a selection of restaurants serving Greek and international food to a 1km shingle beach offering watersports, Argassi is a the place to experience the old Greece along with a taste of the new.
