8 Day Tour
Spend a week travelling around Cuba to experience the amazing diversity this island has to offer historic culture, rolling countryside and exotic nightlife. Day 1: On arrival at Cayo Coco airport, transfer to Sancti Spiritus for dinner and overnight at the Rijo y Plaza. Day 2: After breakfast travel through the countryside to the city of Trinidad, which is on the world heritage list. Visit two of Cubas best museums and sip a Cuban cocktail, surrounded by colonial architecture. Lunch at a local restaurant in Trinidad. Dinner and overnight at Brisas Trinidad (see p67 for hotel description). Day 3: Today you will visit Topes de Collantes, a mountain rainforest eco-system. Take a walk to the waterfalls and see the wildlife in Cuba as you travel through the rolling hills and lush green countryside. Visit a farm house and break for lunch before returning to the hotel. Return to Brisas Trinidad for dinner and overnight stay. Day 4: Departure to Santa Clara for a brief visit to the Ernesto Che Guevara Monument Memorial and Tren Blindado museum. Continue to Cienfuegos for a brief tour of the town, including a visit to Tomas Terry theatre. Overnight at La Union Hotel. Day 5: Today you will travel to Guama to visit the crocodile farm, and enjoy a boat ride through Indian Village. Lunch is at a local restaurant. Continue to the capital city, Havana. Overnight at Hotel Presidente Day 6: After breakfast, experience the delights of Havana with a tour of the old and modern parts of the city including a visit to Arms Square, Cathedral, Morro castle and Revolution Square. Return to the hotel. There is an optional excursion to the world famous Tropicana show in the evening. Day 7: A full days excursion to Viņales to visit both a cigar factory and a rum factory. Lunch is at a local restaurant. Return to Havana for dinner and overnight at the Hotel Presidente. Day 8: Today, transfer to Havana airport for your flight to Cayo Coco. On arrival at the airport you will transfer to your beach hotel or continue your journey to the UK.

This tour operates at the beginning of the holiday on arrival at Cayo Coco airport, and will operate on a Tuesday/Thursday during 1 May-31 Oct 08 and 1 May-31 Oct 09 and Tuesday/Sunday during 1 Nov 8-30 Apr 09.
