TENERIFE
Playa de las Americas
Hands down, this is Tenerife's party capital. And party people have been pulling all-nighters here since the Sixties. It's not just glow sticks, posh threads and 2-4-1 happy hours, though. Wild days are covered, too, thanks to Siam Park Europe's biggest waterpark.

You won't have to go far to find the likes of pizza or fish and chips in Tenerife's party heart places serving up home favourites are tena-penny around here. Got a sweet tooth? Buy some churros from a street stall. They're like a long skinny doughnut and you dunk them in hot chocolate. So right, and so wrong.
FACT
Think Tenerife's flag looks familiar? You'd be right. It's pretty much the same as the Scottish flag, just a different shade of blue. There are loads of theories why, but the most popular is that both places have the same patron saint, St Andrew.
