Your journey begins in the Canary Islands, kicking off with Tenerife. With Mount Teide as its centrepiece, this island's photogenic to say the least. Next up is Gran Canaria and as places go, this one takes some beating. Sigh over Sahara-like sands in Maspalomas. Take in the view at Altavista. Or explore the shop-'til-you-drop capital Las Palmas. Then from a firm favourite you'll move to a lesser-known lovely, La Palma. Seductively sleepy with great scenery, this place is made for taking time out. After that, bid farewell to these Spanish isles - for now at least - and set sail for Morocco where medinas, deserts and souks are the order of the day. There's a Kodak moment tucked into every corner but the spotlight really shines on Agadir's nine kilometres of golden sand. It's just the ticket for some beach downtime. Then it's on to the Atlantic's floating garden, Madeira, where blooms and fine wines vie for your attention. Completing the circle back in the Canaries, there's sun-drenched Lanzarote where the sandy shores, pavement cafés and lunar landscapes will sweep you right off your feet. Why stop at one when you can take in five islands, three countries and more snapshots than you can count?
