From Russia with love...
Setting sail from Corfu, you'll make your way to Canakkale in Turkey where hills and beaches are the backdrop for Troy's Trojan Horse. A day at sea takes you round the coast to Trabzon, an ancient metropolis that fans out from the seashore to the mountains. Moving on, you'll spend a day in Sochi whose beaches and mountains provide a playground for Russia's rich and famous. Next comes Yalta in the Ukraine, where you'll find the famous Swallow's Nest Castle. Your next stop is Sevastopol to see reminders of its battle-scarred past. Sailing back to Turkey, you'll arrive in intoxicating Istanbul. Another day at sea takes you to Piraeus on the Greek mainland. From here it's a hop to Athens, where the Acropolis and the Parthenon are just the tip of the sightseeing iceberg. Then it's on to Heraklion with its harbours and golden sands, closely followed by Katakolon, a stone's throw from Olympia, birthplace of the Olympic Games.
