Day 2/3 Friday & Saturday, Aqaba JORDAN Friday 11.00 - Saturday 20.00 Aqaba is your springboard to the Lost City of Petra. Day 4 Sunday, At Sea Sailing through the crystal waters of the Red Sea, youll arrive in the Egyptian port of Sokhna. Day 5 Monday, Port Sokhna (for Cairo) EGYPT 07.00 - 21.00 Vibrant and at times chaotic, Cairo is Egypt's bustling capital. See reminders of the past in the Cairo Museum. Here, brightly painted sarcophagi, gilded thrones and glittering jewellery fill the seemingly endless display cases. Day 6/7Tuesday & Wednesday, Safaga (for Luxor and Hurghada) EGYPT Tuesday 11.00 - Wednesday 22.30 Built on the 4,000 year old site of Thebes, Luxor is an open-air museum, home to a wealth of age-old riches. Not far from here is the famous Valley of the Kings. Day 8 Thursday, Sharm El Sheikh EGYPT Your cruise comes to a close in sun-drenched Sharm El Sheikh.
Due to the distances from the ports to the main sites of interest, organised tours are strongly recommended. Approximate journey times are as follows: Aqaba to Petra: 2 hours, Port Sokhna to Cairo: 2 hours, Safaga to Luxor: 3.5 hours.
