Set on a seven-kilometre stretch of Blue Flag beach, this place couldn't be in a better location. It's just a short stroll to the resort's private marina and perched on a hill next to the hotel is a ruined Byzantine tower. Following the hotel's recent makeover, the inside is very design-conscious. In fact the coffee-and-cream decor in the rooms wouldn't look out of place in an interiors magazine. And the addition of flatscreen TVs and DVD players makes the balconied space even more modern. A lot of thought has gone into the restaurants, too. In the Poseidon, they've kept things simple with marble floor, cushioned banquettes and cream linen.
