The Villa Durrueli Resort & Spa is in a quiet spot, just over a five-minute walk from Pescatori Beach and Ischia Castle. There are cafés, bars and trattorias nearby, too. The hotel's main feature is its rooftop terrace, which offers up amazing views and plays host to a rectangular swimming pool edged by greenery. There's a bar up here, as well, if you want a drink in the shade. Alternatively, head to the wellness centre it boasts an indoor pool, a steam bath and a relaxation area. At mealtimes, the buffet restaurant serves up a mix of international dishes. What's more, al fresco dining over candlelight is a regular fixture. Evenings here tend to be pretty laid-back, with the focus on cocktails in the lounge bar.
