One of the draws at the Hotel Fortunella is its location. The hotel is just a five-minute walk from the main beach in Lido Di Camaiore, which stretches for a massive four kilometres. Like many of the beaches in Tuscany, there's a fee to use the beach, but the money is used to keep the sand clean and tidy. The hotel is in a good spot for day trips, too � hop on a bus and you'll be in Pisa in around 40 minutes and Florence in a couple of hours. The hotel itself is an intimate, family-run place. It's recently been refurbished, too, so everything is new and modern. Bedrooms, for instance, have whitewashed walls, tiled floors and technological touches such as satellite televisions and air-conditioning. In terms of facilities, this place lends out mountain bikes so you can enjoy cycling along the promenade and through the back streets. The hotel has also got its own bar. When it comes to mealtimes, the restaurant here serves a buffet breakfast of croissants, meats and cheeses, and an evening menu of Mediterranean food. If you'd rather go out for dinner, Lido Di Camaiore has a variety of restaurants, caf�s and bistros serving everything from pizza and traditional Tuscan dishes to local seafood.
