Set in well-tended gardens, this old stone house has a distinctly traditional feel. inside, for example, it's a case of dark wooden furniture and tiled floors, all rounded off with white walls and, in the bedrooms, white linen. in the kitchenette there's a fridge-freezer and a two-ring hob - spot-on for rustling up a spot of brunch. Head outside, and you'll find a large, undivided terrace with plenty of room to dine al fresco - so the barbecue, albeit shared, may well become a staple. but the best bit about the outdoor space is the view the property's on a hill, so the panorama over Gruz Harbour is fantastic. Location-wise, it's a 15-minute walk down to the beach, promenade and harbour. The two bedrooms a single and a double - and the roomy bathroom are at the rear of the apartment.
