In partnership with Europcar we are able to offer the highest quality car hire with exceptionally good rates. This gives you the freedom to enjoy the delights of your holiday destination to your own agenda and pace. A car is automatically included in the majority of our holidays, but if you would like to upgrade your car or add an additional car to your booking we offer the special rates below if you reserve the car prior to your departure.You will collect your car from the airport and you will be provided with detailed driving instructions. NB.You MUST remember to carry your drivers' licence with you at all times as it is a legal requirement in many countries. Without it you will be unable to hire a car or drive.You will be asked to leave an imprint of the named driver's valid major credit card (not debit card) to cover fuel and security deposit. When you collect your hire car, you'll be asked to leave a valid major credit card imprint as a deposit to cover security, based on basic hire cost, plus CDW and THW excess charges, petrol, toll fees and any additional days you have booked locally. This will be held for the duration of your rental and then refunded where no additional costs have been incurred. Some larger cars will require imprints of 2 valid major credit cards.

Key for car rental coding & upgrading or adding cars The car rental industry utilises an industry standard vehicle matrix to define car groups. It ensures a like for like comparison of standards across countries. An example of the type of car included can be found in the above matrix. All car types are examples: cars allocated will be of a similar standard but may differ by destination. A standard car or cars suitable for your party size is included in your holiday according to the table below. If you wish to upgrade the car, or add additional cars to your booking, please follow these steps: Step 1 - Refer to the car hire prices box below (shown in £), noting which car groups are available. Step 2 - The vehicle matrix, below, will help you to decipher the code of the car group. The first letter refers to the class, the second to the type, the third refers to the transmission and the last letter refers to the air-conditioning. E.g. EBMR = Economy, 2 door, manual, air-conditioned. Step 3 - If you are upgrading from the standard car, the supplement payable is the difference between the cost of the allocated standard vehicle for your villa size and the vehicle(s) you require. If you are adding a car to your booking, the prices are listed in the car hire prices box. Step 4 - Call 0871 231 4040 to make your upgrade or add extra car(s). You can do this either at the time of making your booking or after your booking has been made (in which case you will need to quote your holiday reference number).

The luggage space in a group A car is rather limited, so if you are collecting your car from the airport on arrival with a lot of luggage or you would like that extra bit of comfort when touring, we recommend you upgrade to a larger car in a different vehicle group. We regret we are unable to offer a separate transfer for excess luggage that does not fit within the car. Please refer to A-Z for important notes regarding car hire.
