You don't have to worry about getting to the beach here - there's a white-sand stretch on the doorstep. Plus, the hotel is home to a huge swimming pool that winds around islands and under bridges. In terms of dining, Al Walima - the main buffet restaurant - comes with great views over the pool and the Red Sea. There's an outdoor barbecue terrace, and a kids' corner for little ones. Elsewhere, the pool bar does a nice line in afternoon tea, and the El Dawar beach bar serves up some great views at sunset.
