And its out-of-the-way location means there's little more than goat bells and the clip-clop of donkeys' hooves to distract you from your peace and quiet. If you do fancy livening things up a bit though, Lindos is just a 15-minute walk downhill and a taxi home costs about four euros. Once you've adjusted to the calm vibe, the first thing you'll notice is the pool. It's a roomy oblong affair perfect for serious swimming or just a quick dip.
