This hotel may be a 3 star, but it's landed itself a 5 star location. An attractive block of honey-coloured stone, it stands on the seafront at Xlendi - an excellent base to take advantage of the superb diving in Gozo. The hotel is a cosy and simple affair. The ground floor is given over to its `Zafiro' restaurant-come-bar. All ironwork bistro chairs and marbled pillars, it's a nice setting for the buffet breakfasts. Snack and à la carte menus are served here at lunch and dinner, too. Alternatively, take a table outside to watch the boats while you eat.
