the Hotel monica is just a couple of minutes' from the beach and town centre, plus it boasts a laid-back pool scene.
If your image of the perfect place to stay includes well-tended lawns, soft carpets and room service whenever you feel like it, this is the hotel for you. Prepare to be impressed by owner Monica's careful attention to detail, by the good food and by the delightful setting. Lawns and palm trees around the pool give a sense of quiet tranquility. After a lovely swim why not spoil yourself with a sauna or whirlpool bath? You can certainly pamper yourself here. A short walk will take you to the promenade with all its distractions. You'll love the vast beach, which stretches for nine kilometres, as far as the eye can see. And if you fancy an outing, why not drive to the monastery at Poblet or visit the beautiful city of Barcelona, just an hour and a half away, or cycle to Salou where there is a street market every Monday morning.
