Thomson Destinations Portinatx/Puerto San Miguel Location Approximately 30km northeast of Ibiza Town Transfer time 30 minutes to 1 hour Puerto San Miguel is set in a mountainous region on the northwestern coast of Ibiza. Backed by dramatic cliffs and flanked by jade-coloured pine forests, the bay around which the village is built is deep, wide and gorgeous. If peace, quiet and relaxation are what you're looking for, stop searching and book your dream holiday in Puerto San Miguel now. It's easy to see why Portinatx was chosen as the setting for the film South Pacific, with its pretty coves, sandy beaches and crystal clear waters. Relaxed by day and lively by night, the resort is very compact, with its three beaches, shops, bars and restaurants all within walking distance. ˛ Puerto San Miguel Ibiza Playa d'en Bossa Location 5km south of Ibiza Town Transfer time 15 to 30 minutes Lively Playa d'en Bossa boasts the longest beach on Ibiza: 2.5km of sands that are rightfully popular with families for their cleanliness. As you'd expect, there are great watersports facilities in July and August and the 25-acre Fiestaland complex is located here. The resort lies 5km south of Ibiza Town and is on the southeast coast of the island, making it an ideal location for those seeking sun, sea and fun. Being close to the airport means there is a very short transfer time. It also means that there is some aircraft noise but customer rating scores have shown that this does not spoil our guests' holidays. Es Cana/Cala Llonga/Santa Eulalia Location 15km - 25km northeast of Ibiza Town Transfer time 30 minutes to 1 hour Despite its development into a popular resort, Es Cana has lost little of its original character. There's a good selection of bars, cafés and restaurants for relaxed nightlife, and occasional local fiestas and the endearingly named hippy market' craft fair add a touch of colour. Cala Llonga, tucked between the steep banks of pine-covered hillsides, is definitely the spot for a quiet holiday. Nightlife is limited to some bars and restaurants run by friendly British residents, while days can be spent relaxing on the golden sands of the cove. Santa Eulalia is situated next to the only river in the Balearic Islands. It is a smart, cosmopolitan resort and couples and families with older children love this former market town. ˛ Cala Llonga San Antonio Bay Location 16km northwest of Ibiza Town Transfer time 30 minutes to 1 hour Stretching around the bay from the main town of San Antonio, this is a holiday area where the beach is never far from your door, and there's always a laid-back bar within an easy stroll. A promenade runs around the shore, linking all the sandy coves together. Near the Town Hall, the main beach slopes gently into clean, shallow water. Further round, there's a succession of smaller coves, and watersports such as parasailing, banana boats and jet-skiing take advantage of the calm waters of the bay. San Antonio Bay's many restaurants offer good value for money, and the beach bars make the perfect spot to watch the sunset - you may catch live shows or bands on the terraces later in the evening. The shops here are mostly stocked with beachwear and souvenirs, but you can pop into San Antonio for interesting pottery, jewellery and leather. Highlights Spirit of Ibiza Discover all four corners of the island, including free time in the resorts of Santa Eulalia or San Antonio and Portinatx. Lunch is taken at a 300-year-old restaurant which is an old farmhouse with beautiful views. Also included is a visit to the Las Salinas salt flats and the old church of San Jose. Premier Sailing A great way to treat the family on a relaxing day aboard this lovely catamaran, which sails towards the beautiful beaches of Formentera. There's plenty of time for swimming and snorkelling in the safety of the shallow turquoise waters; there's also a tasty barbecue lunch served on board with free-flowing soft drinks for the kids and for the adults you can help yourself to beer and wine throughout the day. This is a great way to spend some quality time with your family on board the most beautiful Catamaran in Ibiza. ˛ Talamanca Sky digital 647 Visit your travel agent up to Call 0871 230 2555 Calls costMobile 10p/min plus 6p set up fee from a BT landline. and other providers' charges may vary. 87
