Claudia Casa is part of a set of converted farm buildings in rural Tuscany. To give you an idea just how rural, the nearest shops are a 30-minute walk away or a ten-minute drive. San Gimignano, the closest town, is a little further about 15 minutes in the car. The villa itself is a really olde worlde affair. The layout is a bit topsy-turvy you'll find the living area on the ground floor. It's an open-plan set-up with the lounge, dining room and kitchen all rolled into one. With chunky wooden furniture throughout, it's got a really rustic feel. Just off the living area, you'll find a terrace and a little lawn with tables and chairs set under a cane canopy. As for the bedrooms, there are two doubles here. The first is upstairs and comes with a shower room just next door, the second one, meanwhile, is downstairs. It's been kitted out in a traditional style, so expect tiled floors, beamed ceilings and wall lamps. Plus, it comes with arched doors that open out onto a lower-level patio. Lastly, there's the swimming pool. It's shared with 11 other apartments so it's bigger than your average villa pool. It's set in gardens about a minute's walk from this house.
