Travelling the length and breadth of Florida is an exhilarating experience, revealing much more than the attractions of Orlando and the fine beaches of the east and west coasts - although, of course, we sample these as well. But the very different environments of `primitive' Wakulla State Park and the Everglades, the romance of the Keys, long associated with legendary personalities such as Ernest Hemingway, Humphrey Bogart and Edward G. Robinson, and the dramatic scientific achievements of the late 20th century summed up at Kennedy Space Center, make this holiday `fun' on many sensory levels. Witness the between-the-wars sumptuous living of tycoons such as Henry Ford, enjoying Walt Disney World® Resort's Magic Kingdom®, or dinner cruising in fashionable Clearwater - that's only part of the picture in a two-week adventure which concludes with a leisurely three night stay at the elegant Hilton Hotel set on the idyllic white sands of Clearwater Beach. 14 DAYS FROM £1495 Key West Conch tour train Atlanta · Macon · Tallahassee · Wakulla State Park Orlando · Key Largo · Key West · Clearwater DAY 1 LONDON · ATLANTA DAY 5 ORLANDO/ KISSIMMEE We begin with Titan's VIP Home Departure ServiceTM to London Gatwick Airport and your scheduled British Airways flight direct to Atlanta, Georgia. On arrival our coach will transfer you to the Hilton or Crowne Plaza Hotel, our base for the next two nights. DAY 2 ATLANTA This morning we have arranged a tour of Atlanta, known as the `Gone With The Wind' city, where we include a visit to the Martin Luther King Memorial, ending at Peachtree Plaza in the heart of the lively city allowing free time to explore. Atlanta, with a wealthy business community, is a sophisticated international city with superb shopping and vibrant night life. Remainder of the day is at leisure. No visit to Orlando would be complete without a visit to the Kennedy Space Centre and Cape Canaveral. It has been almost five decades since Alan Shepard first launched from Florida to become the first American in space and here at the centre you can discover and experience the history behind it. The day at the Visitor Complex includes a tour of NASA's Launch Headquarters where we take a close up look at the massive launch pads. The tour also includes a stop at the four-storey observation gantry where you can enjoy a bird's eye view of one of the world's busiest space launch facilities. In the afternoon we return to our hotel. Remainder of the day is free. DAY 6 ORLANDO/ KISSIMMEE DAY 3 ATLANTA · TALLAHASSEE We depart this morning for historic Macon with its leafy streets, lined with colonial-style houses. Here we visit Georgia Music Hall of Fame where you can experience the history and influences of Georgia's music throughout the years. Many famous musicians launched their careers here such as James Brown and Otis Redding. After some time to explore we continue south to Florida's state capital, Tallahassee and the Holiday Inn hotel. This city, with its roads canopied by ancient trees, has deep roots in Florida's history with the Old State Capitol building taking centre stage. Included in this holiday is a full day's pass to Walt Disney Worlds Resort Magic Kingdom or Epcot Centre, centred around the lovable Disney Characters. Both parks feature many well-loved and iconic sights such as Cinderella's Castle and Epcot's Spaceship Earth. These parks provide something for everyone with shows and parades being featured throughout the day. Why not enjoy the Walt Disney World Railroad that runs along the perimeter of the park and makes stops at all the must see attractions? Wakulla State Park resident Apollo/Saturn Visitor Center DAY 7 KISSIMMEE · KEY LARGO DAY 4 TALLAHASSEE · KISSIMMEE 108 Today we visit the `Heart of Africa' in the heart of Florida. Wakulla State Park is a combination of swampland and jungle that has remained largely undisturbed from the beginning of time. On arrival we board our boat and cruise sedately along the river where many Tarzan films were shot. Here we enter a world of teeming wildlife where ibis, herons, egrets and many other beautiful birds, which can be seen along the forested banks, are unperturbed by our presence. From fallen logs midstream, alligators view us with apparent lack of interest. In the clear water fish swim gracefully past. We continue to Orlando and nearby Kissimmee, where we stay at the Radisson Resort Orlando Celebration for the next three nights. We leave this morning and journey south to Fort Lauderdale. Here is an opportunity to stroll along the pedestrian promenades lined with sidewalk cafés and a chance to admire the long stretches of beautiful beaches. Free time to discover the many restaurants in the city and explore the wide variety of shops and boutiques. Later in the day we have our first glimpse of the stunning Florida Keys as we arrive at the Key Largo Grande Resort at Key Largo, our hotel for the next two nights. DAY 8 KEY WEST Today we continue along the Keys for a full day's visit to fabulous Key West, the southernmost city in the Continental U.S. and a popular haven for writers and artists. We take the famous Conch Train, a trolley tour which explores the island and affords views of ornate
