USA and the Caribbean North America is a country rich in wonderful scenery, charming small towns and villages, inviting coastlines and beaches and many of the world's most exciting cities. In a country so vast with so much to see and do, having a reliable guide who will also make the essential arrangements for you can make all the difference between a good and a perfect holiday. At Titan HiTours we have been introducing clients to the often hidden beauties as well as the world-famous attractions of this continent for well over 20 years, and in that time have devised a portfolio of unique tours whose purpose is to get you to know and love the country as we do. Although we have tours that take in large swathes of the country in one holiday and clients have commented on how much we include without seeming to rush we have also pioneered holidays that explore smaller areas in some depth and allow those times to `stand and stare' that one can savour so much in memory on returning home. We hope that the following notes about our American holidays, in which out of geographical logic we have also included the Caribbean, will help you to choose your next holiday from a programme which is generally recognised to be the most comprehensive and of the highest quality offered by any UK holiday company. of Nevada and Arizona, also have an electric mix of stunning natural wonders and exciting cities. At the fore front of all of these is Los Angeles which has long been associated with popular entertainment and is home to many iconic sights today such as Hollywood and the walk of fame, and Disneyland, where we of course include a multiple entry pass to help you make the best of your time. San Francisco could equally be placed as one of the world's most exciting cities with its rollercoaster roads offering marvellous vistas over the city and the bay from the vantage point of one of its famous trams. Alternatively discover the colourful and amazing spectacles of Las Vegas, a city which like New York, never sleeps and offers an amazing array of entertainment including numerous top class shows, with something for everyone. Of course the west is not all about big cities, it also has some marvellous quaint towns too like the lovely coastal mission town of Santa Barbara and Clint Eastwood's captivating seaside hideaway of Carmel (where he was once mayor) and great scenic treasures, such as the fabled 17 mile drive and the sinuously winding cliffside road around Big Sur, the wonder of Yosemite National Park, home to the giant Redwood trees and the awe inspiring sight of the Grand Canyon. name but a few. Our comprehensive tours make the most of these wonderful areas, to explore the beautiful vistas, the geological wonders and the interesting wildlife in more depth. From the Canadian border downward this is a wonderful area for touring from spring to autumn. From the breathtaking sight of the Grand Canyon, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, and the cactus strewn desert of southern Arizona, to the impressive American Rockies running through Colorado and New Mexico and the open ranch lands of Texas with its countless heads of cattle, million gallons of oil and expansive, upcoming cities, the mid west appeals to a wide range of tastes. A collection of five states located along the bottom of the USA: Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee and Georgia are probably best known for their distinctive Latin culture, flavoursome Cajun cooking, jazzy music and - if its playwrights and novelists are to be believed - steamy passions smouldering under its laid-back lifestyle.
