DAY 14 VANCOUVER
One of the world's most sophisticated cities, Vancouver has the advantage of one of the most spectacular settings in the world, in the foreground the encircling Pacific Ocean and as a backdrop, the grandeur of Grouse Mountain. As an introduction we have arranged an orientation tour, then you are free to discover the wonders of the city for yourself. You may wish to join the optional excursion to Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge as detailed below.

VANCOUVER
A relaxing day to further enjoy Vancouver. You may wish to take an excursion to Victoria on Vancouver Island. Laying claim to being one of Canada's most beautiful cities, Victoria with its attractive harbour, is well worth a visit. With Vancouver being such a cosmopolitan city, there is evening entertainment of all kinds and restaurants offering the cuisines of the world.

More free time this morning to enjoy some last minute exploration or shopping in Vancouver. Later this afternoon we transfer to Vancouver Airport for our return flight direct to London. OR EXTEND YOUR STAY - CALL FOR DETAILS

On arrival at London Heathrow Airport our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.
GROUSE MOUNTAIN AND CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE
The Vancouver Optional Excursion
Our optional excursion to Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge takes place in the afternoon of your first full day in Vancouver, after your included city tour. We begin with Grouse Mountain and their Skyride, an enclosed gondola cable car, which takes us the 3,700 feet to the peak of Vancouver and Grouse Mountain's mountain-top chalet, where unbeatable views across the forest canopy of Douglas Firs and cedars, to the city of Vancouver and Pacific Ocean await. Entrance to Grouse Mountain`s `Theatre in the Sky', showing a tribute film to the scenic wonders of British Columbia, is also included. From Vancouver's highest mountain we take you to Capilano Suspension Bridge, the world`s longest and highest suspended footbridge and a chance to walk the gently swaying cedar planks 450 feet across and 230 feet above the Capilano River. We have arranged for included Garden Tea to be taken while at Capilano, which will be served in the heated garden marquee, set in their award winning gardens.
