We are pleased to offer this opportunity to discover the fascinating cities of Moscow and St Petersburg in a relaxed and comfortable manner. With the increase in popularity of holidays to Russia, prices are inevitably rising so this arrangement represents excellent value for money. Our holiday incorporates British Airways flights, includes all transfers, stays in centrally located hotels in each city (unlike some other operators), includes guided tours of each city and we travel between cities in 1st class couchettes.
ITINERARY DAY 1 Depart London Heathrow on British Airways scheduled flight to Moscow. " Direct scheduled British Airways flights On arrival transfer to the 4 star Marriott " Excellent centrally located hotels Tverskaya for a three-night stay. The rest of " 1st class two berth compartments on the day is free. DAY 2 Morning orientation overnight train included guided city tour including Red Square with " Included city tours of Moscow and its spectacular rainbow coloured domes of St Petersburg and guided visit to the St Basils Cathedral past the KGB headquarters, Hermitage Museum the White House and the Bolshoi Theatre. (B) " Set at a relaxed pace with plenty of time DAY 3 A free day to explore. Take a tour of to explore the Kremlin or stroll along the cobble-stoned pedestrianised Arbat Street. (B) DAY 4 Further free time. This evening board the overnight train to St Petersburg in 1st class two berth compartments. (B) DAY 5 Early morning arrival into St Petersburg and transfer to the 3 star Hotel Dostoevsky for a three-night stay. This centrally located hotel enables independent exploration of this wonderful city. (B) DAY 6 Morning guided tour including a visit to the Peter and Paul Fortress and the magnificent Hermitage Museum which houses one of the richest art collections in the world. (B) DAY 7 A free day with optional visits to the impressive Palace Square, Summer Palace and the beautiful St Isaacs Cathedral. (B) DAY 8 Morning free to relax or stroll through the grand avenues. Later today transfer to the airport for return flight to London Heathrow. (B)
