ITINERARY - DAY 1 Depart London Gatwick on Monarch Plus flight direct to Luxor. On " Monarch Plus direct flights from Gatwick arrival transfer to the 5 star MS RA I for a " 5 star vessel on full board basis seven-night cruise on a full board basis. (D) " All cabins have 'step-on' balconies DAY 2 Morning optional visit to the extensive Valley of the Kings - famous site of " Private moorings in Luxor & Aswan Tutankhamun's tomb, the mortuary temple of " Abu Simbel optional visit Queen Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon . " Expert guides and Egyptologists Sail to Esna for overnight. (B,L,D) DAY 3 Sail to " FREE afternoon tea/coffee Edfu. A chance to visit the temple of Edfu . Sail to Kom Ombo and opportunity to visit the unique temple there . Sail to Aswan and overnight. (B,L,D) DAY 4 Morning optional excursion to the High Dam and by boat to the Temple of Philae . Afternoon optional Felucca ride on Nile . (B,L,D) DAY 5 Morning free in Aswan, perhaps enjoy one of the optional excursions available locally, such as the Nubian Village. Alternatively take an optional excursion by air to Abu Simbel one of the most amazing ancient sites (bookable prior to departure). (B,L,D) DAY 6 A leisurely day. Afternoon sail back Kom Ombo and Edfu for overnight. (B,L,D) DAY 7 Sail to Luxor arriving late afternoon for free time. Optional evening performance of the Sound & Light Show at the Luxor and Karnak Temples. (B,L,D) DAY 8 Morning visit to Karnak and Luxor Temples . Transfer to Luxor Airport for return flight to Gatwick. (B,L) Unfortunately it is not possible to extend your stay on this holiday.
