We are pleased to offer this wonderful combination of a relaxing deluxe cruise on the timeless, romantic Nile with all sightseeing included, a visit to the stunning temple at Abu Simbel (one of Egypts most striking sites) and a cruise on the open waters of Lake Nasser. This arrangement enables one to contrast the more remote regions of the Upper Nile with the beautiful, fertile River Nile providing dramatic vistas of the dry desert landscape that unfold before you.
ITINERARY - DAY 1 Depart London Gatwick on Monarch Plus direct flight to Luxor. On " Monarch Plus direct flights to Luxor arrival transfer to the MS RA II for your four" 10 excursions included night cruise. (D) DAY 2 This morning sail on the timeless Nile north to Dendera. Visit the " Included Abu Simbel visit temple dedicated to the God Hathor before " 5 star vessels including three-night cruise sailing back to Luxor to the vessels private on Lake Nasser mooring. (B,L,D) DAY 3 Morning visit to the " All cabins on RA II have 'step-on' balconies Valley of the Kings the site of Tutankhamuns " Expert guides and Egyptologists tomb, Deir El Bahri the mortuary temple of " 7 breakfasts, 6 lunches and Queen Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon. 7 dinners included Afternoon visit to the temple complexes of Luxor and Karnak. Sail to Esna. (B,L,D) DAY 4 Morning visit to the temple of Edfu - dedicated to the falcon headed God Horus. Sail to Aswan. (B,L,D) DAY 5 Disembark and transfer to the airport for your flight to Abu Simbel for one of the main highlights of this cruise. Visit this magnificent site and learn about the removal from its original position, threatened by the rising waters of the Lake Nasser. Embark the MS Prince Abbas (or similar) for your three-night cruise on a full board basis. (B,L,D) DAY 6 Sail to Kasr Ibrim, visit the upper temple, the ruins of the ancient citadel and an orthodox cathedral. Sail to Amada and visit this re-located temple with its amazing polychrome decorations. Continue to Wadi EI Seboua. (B,L,D) DAY 7 A chance this morning to visit the rock temple built by Ramses II, dedicated to the God Amon. Continue sailing Lake Nasser towards Aswan. (B,L,D) DAY 8 Transfer to Aswan Airport for return flight to Luxor and onward flight to Gatwick. (B) Unfortunately it is not possible to extend your stay on this holiday.
