ITINERARY DAY 1 Depart London Heathrow on Iberia Airlines flight to San José via Madrid. " Escorted tour with excellent English Arrive San José in the evening and transfer to speaking guides the Barcelo Real Hotel for a two-night stay. " Partial transit of the Panama Canal DAY 2 Morning tour through Costa Ricas " 2 nights at the Tortuguero National Park capital San José. Explore the National Theatre, " Visit Selvatura Nature Park, Masaya The Gold Museum and the National Museum. Volcano National Park & Monteverde Afternoon free. (B) DAY 3 Depart San José on Cloud Forest Reserve a scenic journey through coffee plantations to " 15 breakfasts, 4 lunches & 4 dinners the summit of the Poás Volcano. After a short included walk along huge plants and leafs, you will see the main crater of this impressive volcano, one of the largest craters in the world. Continue to Monteverde via San Ramón and Puntarenas for a two night stay at the Hotel Heliconia. (B) DAY 4 Visit the famous Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, located 1600 metres above sea level. Enjoy an extended walk through this paradise. In the afternoon observe the jungle from a very special perspective thanks to the Selvatura Nature Park, a system of easily accessible suspension bridges, allowing you to observe the canopy of the forest. (B) DAY 5 We continue via Cañas and Liberia to the north to Peñas Blancas on the border with Nicaragua. Where
