Days 14 to 17
DAY 14 BANFF
Today we tour the surrounds of Banff and the lake areas, which include Moraine Lake, once featured on the back of the Canadian $20 dollar bill and Lake Louise, named after Princess Louise Caroline Alberta, Queen Victoria's fourth daughter. At Lake Louise we stop at the Chateau for some picture postcard views of the lake and the magical Victoria Glacier. Returning to Banff and our hotel, we are free this evening to discover some of the town's nightlife.

BANFF
Moraine Lake The Three Brown Bears

Today we have a free day in one of the loveliest small towns in North America, surrounded by the Rocky Mountains and set in lushly green National Park. On the outskirts of town is Sulphur Mountain, with its enclosed gondola ride to the 7,500 ft. summit from where there are some breathtaking views of the Bow Valley and Banff town below. The celebrated Banff Springs Hotel located just beyond Sulphur Mountain, is well worth a visit. Our final night in Banff enables us to sample yet more of the local cuisine.

We leave Banff and the Rocky Mountains behind today, and following the path of the great Bow River descend to the great plains and the looming sky of Calgary. On arrival in Calgary, we transfer to the airport and our return Air Canada flight direct to London Heathrow Airport. OR EXTEND YOUR STAY - CALL FOR DETAILS

On arrival at London Heathrow Airport our staff will greet you and transfer you to Titan transport for your journey home to your own front door.
GROUSE MOUNTAIN AND CAPILANO SUSPENSION BRIDGE
The Vancouver Optional Excursion
Our optional excursion to Grouse Mountain and Capilano Suspension Bridge takes place in the afternoon of your first full day in Vancouver, after your included city tour. We begin with Grouse Mountain and their Skyride, an enclosed gondola cable car, which takes us the 3,700 feet to the peak of Vancouver and Grouse Mountain's mountain-top chalet, where unbeatable views across the forest canopy of Douglas Firs and cedars, to the city of Vancouver and Pacific Ocean await. Entrance to Grouse Mountain`s `Theatre in the Sky', showing a tribute film to the scenic wonders of British Columbia, is also included. From Vancouver's highest mountain we take you to Capilano Suspension Bridge, the world`s longest and highest suspended footbridge and a chance to walk the gently swaying cedar planks 450 feet across and 230 feet above the Capilano River. We have arranged for included Garden Tea to be taken while at Capilano, which will be served in the heated garden marquee, set in their award winning gardens.
