Early morning arrival in Hobart, capital of Tasmania. Its busy, beautiful harbour, the rich heritage of its colonial past and an easy-going atmosphere make this one of the most enjoyable Australian cities to visit. Early evening sailing.

The day is spent cruising the waters that previously were the home and breeding grounds for huge colonies of sea elephants and seals, hunted almost to extinction earlier in the last century for their valuable skins and oil.

DAY 15
MELBOURNE
Early morning arrival in Melbourne, the dynamic capital city of Victoria, where delightful colonial buildings sit side by side with dazzling sky-scrapers. Old-fashioned trams criss-cross the city and there are Victorian mansions, quaint cottages, old jails and sheep stations among the many buildings open to the public. Opportunity to visit one of the many wildlife centres, gold mining villages or to take a winery tour before an early evening sailing.

AT SEA
This `Grand Class' vessel is one of the most modern and innovative on the seas today and boasts a high proportion of outside and balcony staterooms. She offers a myriad of dining options including four `Anytime Dining' themed restaurants as well as a traditional fixed seating International Dining Room. You will find a number of bars and lounges including the Wheelhouse Bar, which offers a classic club-like atmosphere, and three show lounges ensure a variety of evening entertainment. Generous deck space is complimented with four sparkling pools, one with a retractable roof. Sapphire Princess will appeal to those who like a modern style of cruising with plenty of activities and facilities. She carries a maximum of 2,600 passengers with a crew of 1,175.
A last day to relax on board and perhaps browse through the duty free shops.
DAY 17
SYDNEY
Early morning arrival in Sydney where we disembark and join our coach for an orientation tour of the city before we transfer to the Grace Hotel. The hotel is well placed to walk to the old Rocks area close to Sydney Harbour, Circular Quay and the main shopping areas. The remainder of the day is free.
DAY 18
SYDNEY
Today is at leisure to further explore this unforgettable city with its beautiful landscape, wealth of culture and enviable lifestyle. This evening you may choose to take a short ferry ride across the Bay to the famous Doyles seafood restaurant, where its enviable waterfront setting is a favourite for locals and visitors alike.

A relaxing start to the day with time for last minute shopping before we transfer to the airport for your indirect scheduled Qantas flight to London.
